These terms cover azmoversdelivery.com, the website of AZ Movers and Delivery, the Peoria moving company Travis Ackerman started in 2014. Spend any time on these pages or submit a price request and you are accepting the conditions spelled out here, which govern moves across the West Valley as well as the longer interstate runs we drive ourselves.
What it costs to deal with us
There is exactly one number you ever owe AZ Movers and Delivery, and it is the binding-quote total, settled when the final box comes off the truck. Everything leading up to that is free:
- No charge to get a quote
- No charge to hold your date
- No charge for the paperwork
- No cut taken off the top of your invoice
You hire the mover directly, with nobody in between
Here is the chain when you book: you send your move details, Sara writes up one fixed price and returns it, you sign, and at that moment a contract exists between you and AZ Movers and Delivery, no third party attached. The trucks are ours, every mover on them draws a W-2 paycheck from us, and the operating authority is held in our own name.

Why the signed number does not move
A binding quote means what it says: the figure you signed is the figure you pay. Two situations are worth spelling out.
- Genuine changes to the job, a room you added or removed, or access at the address that turns out unlike what you described, get you a corrected quote in writing before move day, never a surprise at the curb.
- Anything you did not approve up front simply cannot land on the bill once the truck is unloaded.
How coverage works on your shipment
Coverage on every load opens at the baseline set by federal rule, and you can lift it to suit what is going on the truck.
| Coverage level | How it works |
|---|---|
| Released value | The $0.60-per-pound figure mandated by federal rule, applied automatically unless you upgrade |
| Full-value protection | Costs 1 to 3 percent of your declared value, and it is the smart upgrade once fragile or high-dollar pieces are aboard |
Should you need to file, the claim goes to our office on 83rd Avenue, the federal window to open one runs nine months, and our own staff handles it rather than an outside party.
Deposits and calling off a date
Locking a slot on our calendar takes a refundable $100 to $200 deposit.
- Give roughly 72 hours’ notice and the full deposit returns to you
- Cancel the morning of, and a portion may be withheld to cover crew time we held open for you
The printed quote is the final word on cancellations
What is written above is only the typical case. The precise cancellation terms appear on the quote you print and sign, and that printed copy controls if the two ever differ.
The limit on our liability
On a signed binding-quote job, what we can be held to is fenced in by three things:
- Whatever the printed quote states
- For any leg that crosses a state line, the federal household-goods regulation at 49 CFR § 375 along with its related rules
- For any leg kept within Arizona, the applicable state law
So far as the law permits, the cargo-coverage amount printed on your quote sets the upper limit on what we may owe.
What we expect from you on the form
Two asks when you fill out a price request:
- Keep it honest: correct ZIP codes, a genuine move day, and a room list that reflects your home.
- Skip bot-driven or repeat entries; whatever a script fires off gets dropped.
Where the law allows, we may decline a job.
This is information, not professional advice
The material on this site, these terms plus the FAQ, the route pages, and the area writeups, is general background about moving and nothing further. It is no substitute for an attorney, an accountant, or a tax advisor. Moves tangled up with probate, divorce, or a business interest deserve a word with a licensed professional in that area first.
Permission to follow up
Submitting the form lets AZ Movers and Delivery contact you by phone, email, or automated text as the situation warrants, with your wireless plan’s messaging and data charges possibly in play.
